An important new feature has been added to version 19: the automatic consumption calculation for groups of pieces. With this feature the system achieves greater precision in the consumption calculation for materials in foils, or rolls, simulating the real nesting strategy used in production.

Moreover, to minimize the errors in production, a new function has been added that automatically informs the operator when a characteristic of the piece has changed and the consumption, or cost, requires recalculation. This feature is particularly useful when CAD and Costing operators don’t work beside one another so it’s not possible to communicate changes in real time.
